About the role:
We are seeking a dedicated Band 6 Locum General Radiographer to join our team in Cottingham for a two-month assignment. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic environment, providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering excellent patient care and supporting the radiology department's operations.
Responsibilities:
As a Band 6 Locum General Radiographer, you will perform a range of general radiographic procedures, ensuring high-quality imaging and adherence to established safety standards. You will prepare patients for examinations, operate radiographic equipment, and produce accurate diagnostic images for clinical evaluation. Working closely with the healthcare team, you will provide essential support to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment, while maintaining a patient-focused approach and ensuring a safe and efficient workflow within the radiology department.
What we are looking for in a Radiographer:
- HCPC registration as a Radiographer
- Experience in general radiography
- Strong knowledge of imaging techniques and radiographic equipment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to patient care and safety
- Flexibility to adapt to different clinical situations and schedules
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable
