About the role

Job Title: Radiotherapy
Banding: Band 6 
Location: Taunton, Somerset
Start: ASAP 
Duration: 3 months 
Rate: £26 per hour  
Working hours: Monday – Friday, 08:00am – 17:00 or 09:25-18:30pm 

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Radiographer to join our dedicated client's team in Taunton, Somerset. This role is perfect for a skilled and experienced radiographer looking to contribute to high-quality patient care in a supportive and professional environment. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering diagnostic imaging services and ensuring the best possible outcomes for patients.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of radiographic examinations, ensuring the highest standards of imaging quality and patient care. Duties include operating imaging equipment, maintaining accurate patient records, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive diagnostic services. The role also involves adhering to safety protocols and contributing to the continuous improvement of radiology services.

Qualifications and Experiences:

  • Registered Radiographer with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a clinical radiography setting
  • Delivery of radiotherapy treatment using Elekta Linacs
  • Proficiency in a variety of radiographic techniques and equipment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Commitment to continuous professional development
