Position: Physiotherapist
Banding: 6
Location: Shrewsbury
Pay Rate: £24-27
Start Date: TBC
Working Pattern: Monday-Friday 37.5 hour (may include some weekends/bank holidays)
Duration: Ongoing
 
About Pulse
The Physiotherapist team at Pulse are currently recruiting for Band 6 Physiotherapist in Shrewsbury at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital – Rehab and Recovery Ward 18. A registered Physiotherapist is required to assess and treat patients requiring ward-based rehabilitation and assessment for discharge planning. The person will be part of a therapy team including a rehab technician and an occupational therapist. The successful candidate will be working full time hours during Mon – Fri with a competitive salary. NHS is desirable for this position

Essential skills:
•    HCPC registered
•    Strong communications skills both written and verbal are essential
•    Previous experience in a Healthcare setting related to the therapy field
•    Experience of community-based pathways would also be desirable to ensure length of stay is optimal
•    Experience of working independently and at pace is required to ensure proactive discharge planning and robust and effective treatment plans are in place
