About the role

Job Title: Community Physiotherapist 
Banding: Band 6 
Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire 
Start date: ASAP 
Duration: 3 months (potential of extension ) 
Rate: £24- £25 per month  
Working hours: Monday to Friday

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Community Physiotherapist to join a dedicated and supportive team in Leeds. This role is ideal for a motivated and experienced physiotherapist who is passionate about delivering high-quality care in a community setting. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting patients to regain independence and improve their quality of life through tailored rehabilitation programmes.

What will your responsibilities be:

The postholder will be responsible for assessing, planning, and delivering physiotherapy interventions to patients in their own homes or community clinics. This includes managing a varied caseload of individuals with musculoskeletal, neurological, and respiratory conditions. The role requires close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care and effective discharge planning. A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential, as travel between patient locations is required.

Qualifications and Experiences: 

  • HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist
  • BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy or equivalent
  • Proven experience in community physiotherapy
  • Strong clinical reasoning and assessment skills
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload independently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • Commitment to patient-centred care and evidence-based practice
