About the role

Job Title: Respiratory and Sleep Physiologist
Banding: Band 6 and Band 7 
Location:  Redhill, Surrey 
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 3 months   
Rate: £30 - £40 per hour 
Working hours: Mondays to Fridays

An excellent opportunity is available for experienced Band 6 and Band 7 Respiratory and Sleep Physiologists to join a well-established respiratory diagnostics team in Redhill. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in respiratory and sleep diagnostics who are committed to delivering high-quality care and accurate assessments for the client’s patients. The position offers a supportive environment and the chance to work with advanced diagnostic equipment in a multidisciplinary setting.

What will your responsibilities be:

The Respiratory and Sleep Physiologist will be responsible for conducting a range of diagnostic investigations including spirometry, full lung function testing, CPAP titration, and sleep studies. The role involves interpreting results, preparing detailed reports, and working closely with respiratory consultants and other healthcare professionals to support clinical decision-making. Ensuring patient comfort, maintaining accurate records, and adhering to clinical protocols are essential aspects of the role.

Qualifications and Experiences:

  • BSc in Clinical Physiology (Respiratory and Sleep) or equivalent
  • RCCP or AHCS registration
  • Proven experience in respiratory and sleep diagnostics
  • Competence in performing and interpreting lung function tests and sleep studies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload
  • Commitment to high standards of clinical practice and patient care
