About the role

Sessional Paediatric Occupational Therapist 

Location: Central London/East London/Essex
Contract: Locum 
Hours: 1 day per week 

Our client is seeking a Paediatric Occupational Therapist to provide specialist OT support schools for vulnerable students who are struggling in mainstream education. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy interventions tailored to the needs of students.
  • Support students with sensory, fine motor, and functional skills to enhance participation in school activities.
  • Liaise with teachers and staff to embed OT strategies within the classroom environment.
  • Provide advice and guidance to staff and parents where appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reports.

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Experience working with children and young people in educational or paediatric settings.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
