Band 6 Occupational Therapist – Acute Inpatient Services

Location: Isle of Man
Contract: Temporary

Our client is seeking an experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join their team in the Isle of Man. This role involves working within an acute inpatient setting, supporting patients through their recovery and ensuring safe, timely discharges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality occupational therapy interventions within an acute inpatient environment.
  • Support discharge planning and ensure effective pathways for patient transitions.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide patient-centered care.
  • Promote independence and functional recovery for patients.

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Proven experience in acute inpatient care.
  • Strong understanding of discharge pathways and admission avoidance.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
