About the role

Pulse Nursing are pleased to announce we are seeking A&E nurses in the North London area to join our team. If you are a professional, charismatic A&E nurse you could be the perfect fit for this role.

Working with Pulse will equip you with the skills and experience necessary to allow you to further develop your career in healthcare. You will be working in a fast-paced clinical environment alongside other healthcare professionals to provide top quality care to patients.

Pulse Nursing have recently secured a Tier 0 status with five well established trusts in North Central London. Having a Tier 0 status means that we receive advanced notice of shifts before other agencies, with exclusivity of these shifts.

We are offering a variety of shift patterns, including the option of full-time equivalent hours, in the Tottenham area (closest station is Silver Street) paying between £20.00 - £37.55 per hour.

 

Registered A&E Nurse Responsibilities Includes:

  • Doing the initial patient examination to assess the patient’s needs
  • Fixing dressings and administering medication for pain relief
  • Determining what department the patient needs to be referred to
  • Completing all paperwork including discharge forms
  • Talking with the paramedics and taking over the patient’s care
  • Making arrangements to admit patients into hospital if needed
  • Working with doctors to keep patients and their family members updated on test results or treatment recommendations
  • Maintaining contact with laboratory personnel to report any initial lab findings back to the A&E doctors
  • Taking basic observations, including pulse, blood pressure and oxygen saturation

 

Registered A&E Nurse Requirements:

  • NMC Registration 6 months
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in a clinical setting
  • To meet our framework compliance requirements including DBS, Occupational Health, Clinical References and Updated CV
  • Right to work within the UK – Proof will be required.
