Overview of the Media Planner Role
As a Media Planner at Spark Foundry, you will be instrumental in planning and executing media plans and offline advertising campaigns. Your primary focus will be on media activation and optimization for a portfolio of esteemed clients across various industries.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all offline media campaigns, including TV, Press, Magazines, Radio, External, and Cinema, with a particular emphasis on TV.
- Consolidate and manage completed activities across all media channels for assigned clients.
- Collaborate in defining Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for control, negotiation, and media performance.
- Ensure the thorough control and achievement of specific campaign goals.
- Effectively apply strategic and negotiation guidelines in the development of all campaigns.
- Plan weekly team tasks, adjusting as necessary to ensure balanced workloads.
- Establish clear priorities and define the sequence of actions required for campaign execution.
- Oversee the implementation of the job process to ensure efficiency and quality.
- Continuously identify and suggest improvements to job systems for maximum efficiency and quality.
- Demonstrate strong command and knowledge of the company’s internal tools and resources.
- Maintain active communication and relationships with media partners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising & Public Relations, or equivalent practical experience (3+ years) in advertising campaign planning.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Meticulous and rigorous approach to work.
- Ability to manage daily planning and analysis while fostering strong relationships with publishers and partner agencies.
- Proficiency with advertising market tools such as InfoSys, Tom Micro, and advanced Excel skills for daily use.
