About the role
Assistant Controller
The Assistant Controller position will perform the following duties:
- Ability to analyze and interpret numerical data and perform complex financial analysis.
- Analyze monthly financial statements and provide summary financial reports to management, as required.
- Assist in preparing and analyzing the company budget.
- Coordinate and prepare for the annual audit and corporate tax work.
- Ability to communicate with customers, vendors, community and company personnel in a positive and proactive manner.
- Ability to manage, mentor and lead others in the performance of their duties.
- Interact with financial institutions, customers and vendors in a friendly, timely and quality manner; ensure financial institutions', customers' and vendors' questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner.
- Prepare requested management reports for management and customers.
- Assist staff with questions they have regarding their daily activities.
