About the Role
The Northrop Grumman Classified Solutions CIDO team is looking for a Principal Classified Cybersecurity Analyst to support information systems lifecycle activities. This is a full-time, on-site position in Chandler, AZ. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and compliance of critical information systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct system audits and continuous monitoring for security controls, configurations, and operational processes.
- Perform assessments of systems and networks to identify deviations from acceptable configurations and policies.
- Analyze security requirements and recommend additional safeguards.
- Assist in implementing government policy and documenting process activities.
- Establish program control processes to mitigate risks and support Assessment and Authorization (A&A) of systems.
- Support Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E), including pre-test preparations, participation, analysis, and reporting.
- Document A&A activities and prepare the Risk Management Framework body of evidence.
Basic Qualifications
- Master’s degree with 3 years of relevant technical experience; OR a Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant technical experience; OR an Associate's degree with 7 years of relevant technical experience; OR a High School Diploma/GED with 9 years of relevant technical experience.
- Must meet U.S. Government 8140 requirements (8750 equivalent) for Cybersecurity Analyst – IAM level II (e.g., CAP/CGRC, CASP+ /SecurityX, HCISPP, CISM, CISSP-Associate, GSLC, or CCISO).
- Current U.S. Government Secret level security clearance (minimum).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity or related field.
- Security+ CE certification.
- Experience in cybersecurity compliance (e.g., Assessment & Authorization under RMF).
- Knowledge of security tools such as ACAS, Nessus, Splunk, Trellix, and SCAP.
- Knowledge of security frameworks and documentation like NIST, JSIG, DAAG, SSPs, POA&Ms, and SCTMs.
- Secret or Top Secret clearance with SAP/SAR access preferred.
