Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is looking for you to join our team as a Cyber Systems Engineer based out of Boulder, CO.
What You'll Get To Do
Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
This requisition may be filled at a higher job grade based on the qualifications listed below. This requisition may be filled as either a level 2 or level 3.
Basic Qualifications For a Level 2
- Bachelor's degree and 2 years of relevant experience; 0 years with a Masters.
- An additional 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Must have an Active, In-Scope, DOD TS/SCI Security Clearance or higher that has been granted / renewed within the past 6 years at time of application.
- Must have a basic understanding of testing requirements.
- Ability to present to customers in a Test Director role.
Basic Qualifications For a Level 3
- Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experience; 3 years with a Masters; 0 years with a PhD.
- An additional 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Must have an Active, In-Scope, DOD TS/SCI Security Clearance or higher that has been granted / renewed within the past 6 years at time of application.
- Must have a basic understanding of testing requirements.
- Ability to present to customers in a Test Director role.

- Excellent communication (written and oral), negotiation and interpersonal skills necessary to support known ISSE activities/challenges working with engineering teams, management, customers, partners and government.
- Experience with Relay Ground Stations.
- Experience translating technical concepts and program information to customers.
- Solid understanding of planning, design, and implementation necessary to support a large enterprise system.
- Experience in preparing and/or reviewing technical and programmatic documentation.
- Working experience in integration, test, and verification of software requirements.
