About the Role

The AI Technical Director role at Nearform involves providing strategic and technical leadership across multiple projects. You will define a technical vision, engage with clients, oversee project execution, mentor teams, and manage financial and operational oversight, all within the AI domain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Strategy & Leadership: Define and communicate technical vision and best practices.
  • Client Engagement & Advisory: Lead technical discussions with senior stakeholders.
  • Project Execution: Oversee quality, scalability, and maintainability in project delivery.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor senior engineering teams and promote innovation.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage project budgets and identify revenue opportunities.
  • Industry Influence: Contribute to open-source projects and thought leadership.

What We Are Looking For

15+ years of technical leadership experience with expertise in ML/AI, Generative AI, software architecture, cloud technologies and modern development practices. Candidates must be skilled in pre-sales, client advisory, and technical mentoring. A consultative mindset with strong stakeholder management is essential.
