Overview

Microsoft is seeking a highly motivated, passionate, and customer centric Senior AI Architect. In this hands-on, customer facing technical role, you will leverage deep expertise in AI and Machine Learning, primarily using Python, to design, develop, and deploy end-to-end AI solutions.

Responsibilities

The role focuses on designing robust, scalable AI/ML solutions. You will:

• Lead hands-on design and development primarily using Python.
• Engage with enterprise customers to architect AI-driven solutions leveraging Azure AI services.
• Translate complex requirements into well-engineered technical solutions.
• Develop rapid prototypes with data ingestion, processing, and model deployment using Azure components.
• Integrate AI solutions with full-stack architectures using JavaScript frameworks or .NET ecosystems.
• Establish CI/CD and MLOps pipelines with Azure DevOps and GitHub.
• Explore diverse datasets to engineer novel features for improved ML performance.
• Participate in all phases of the model lifecycle from conceptualization to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in Machine Learning, Data Science, or AI plus a minimum of 10+ years of experience. Mandatory experience includes hands-on Python development and proven success in cloud-native AI projects on Azure.

Preferred Qualifications

Additional software development experience in JavaScript and/or .NET, familiarity with Agentic AI frameworks (Semantic Kernel, LangChain, LangGraph), expertise in Azure OpenAI and automated CI/CD practices are highly valued.
