Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and other project documentation.
- Assist with schedule development, updates, coordination, and progress tracking.
- Support procurement of materials, equipment, subcontractor deliverables, and long lead items.
- Maintain organized logs and digital records for secure and non-secure projects.
- Participate in jobsite walks, QA/QC checks, and punch list development.
- Collaborate with field teams to address coordination issues and support daily operations.
- Maintain communication with subcontractors, design teams, and internal stakeholders.
- Assist with estimating tasks including takeoffs, bid analysis, and scope reviews.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
- 0-3 years of experience with a commercial general contractor.
- Proven exposure to high-end interior projects or secure/regulated environments (e.g., SCIF) is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of core project functions including RFIs, submittals, and scheduling.
- Proficiency with construction software such as Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively between field and office teams.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive with a strong desire to learn and grow.
