Role Overview

Position: Mathematics Expert – Contract, Remote. Flexible hours with a 5-6 week engagement. Strengthen AI systems’ reasoning capabilities through rigorous problem-solving and theorem-based evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Solve and evaluate challenging mathematics problems across diverse fields.
• Review AI-generated proofs and solutions for correctness and rigor.
• Provide structured feedback to improve mathematical reasoning models.
• Collaborate with AI research teams to enhance model outputs.

Requirements / Qualifications

Must have a recent PhD in Mathematics (within past 4 years) or be a PhD candidate at least 2 years into the program. Applicant should be enrolled in or graduated from a top 30 mathematics program. Experience in research/academia is required, along with a strong background in advanced problem-solving, clear articulation of reasoning, reference to theorems, and ability to identify gaps in writing.
