Mathematics Teacher - Online
Mentor Match is seeking a passionate and experienced Mathematics Teacher to deliver structured and interactive online math sessions. This role focuses on preparing students for IGCSE and A Level examinations, emphasizing concept clarity, problem-solving, and exam techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, customized online math lessons.
- Utilize digital tools and visual explanations effectively.
- Guide students through past papers and exam-style questions.
- Provide structured feedback and track student performance.
- Support students with diverse learning needs, including EAL learners.
- Prepare students strategically for board examinations.
Key Areas of Focus:
- IGCSE Mathematics (0580 / 0607 / AQA equivalent): Algebra, Functions, Geometry, Trigonometry, Statistics, Probability.
- A Level Mathematics (9709 / AQA equivalent): Pure Mathematics, Mechanics, Statistics.
- Emphasis on concept clarity, problem-solving strategies, past paper practice, and exam techniques.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- B.Ed. or teaching certification is preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of IGCSE or A Level teaching/tutoring experience.
- Familiarity with Cambridge and/or AQA exam boards.
- Strong online teaching skills and a reliable internet setup.
