About the role
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Content Analyst to manage the acquisition, creation, calculation, and maintenance of Lipper service results. This role is crucial for ensuring high-quality data delivery and supporting ad hoc product initiatives. The Content Analyst will be responsible for delivering client feeds, reports, electronic products, and publications with precision and timeliness, consistently meeting tight deadlines. You will also lead daily processing workloads, optimize information identification and system delivery functions for operational efficiency. Furthermore, you will lead process improvement and re-engineering projects to establish a low-risk, Straight Through Processing (STP) environment, enhancing automation and reducing manual intervention. As a domain expert (SME), you will provide deep insights into system infrastructure and process flow methodologies, and build and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams and external clients.
Responsibilities
- Interact with Fund Managers to collect Fund and Share class data.
- Track and monitor various mailboxes to ensure data deliveries are on schedule.
- Follow up with Fund Management Companies (FMCs) in case of any defaults.
- Develop expertise in data-related issues, financial regulations, and market practices.
- Enhance the usage of available tools to maintain and improve content quality.
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, timeliness, and completeness per company standards.
- Proactively track and monitor mailboxes for Data deliveries and follow up with FMCs/vendors for any missed deliveries.
- Support specific projects as assigned by the manager.
- Adhere to change control procedures, data operations standards, and current data policies.
- Proactively settle and resolve data problems.
- Active membership of Lipper CST, including covering chat.
- Create, distribute, and oversee custom data and content enhancement reports.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of information stored in databases and reflected on Refinitiv products through automated/semi-automated checks.
- Communicate and liaise with internal and external departments for data query resolution.
- Review existing agreements with FMCs and amend FMC/fund information on the database as needed.
- Adhere to dynamic process/MoW changes, data operations standards, and current data policies.
- Deliver high productivity and quality data as per expected performance standards.
- Test new database/application releases, providing user feedback.
