The Role: Legal AI Product Manager
We are seeking a brilliant lawyer to join our team as a Product Manager, taking product ownership for key features within the Lizzy product suite. This role is crucial in shaping the future of legal AI solutions and delivering significant value to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Strategy & Roadmap: Own the vision, roadmap, and priorities for assigned product features, ensuring alignment with overall company goals.
- Customer, Market & Legal Validation: Onboard and train new customers, present new capabilities, advise on creating and improving legal AI workflows, and feed valuable insights into prioritization for owned areas.
- Delivery Leadership: Define clear requirements, coordinate closely with design, engineering, and machine learning teams to ship features within owned areas. Manage trade-offs effectively across accuracy, latency, cost, and user experience, while aligning dependencies with other Product Managers and teams.
- Legal AI Content Generation: Create and maintain comprehensive prompt libraries, define agent behaviors, and develop workflow templates for specific use cases, including establishing robust guardrails and evaluation criteria.
- Launch & Outcomes (Owned Metrics): Support successful launches for owned product areas, diligently track key performance indicators (KPIs), monitor for issues, and iterate based on data-driven insights and customer feedback.
Requirements
- Brilliant Lawyer: Immediately post-internship or 1st/2nd year associate experience.
- Fluent English: Demonstrated strong written and spoken communication skills.
- Strong Interest in AI: A genuine curiosity and proactive approach to applying AI in legal workflows.
- Analytical Problem-Solver: Proven ability to break down ambiguity and drive practical, effective solutions.
- Fast, Rigorous Researcher: Capability to quickly learn new domains and find high-quality, reliable sources.
