The Opportunity
Join our dynamic Customer Service team as a Field Service Technician (DMST) and deliver an exceptional customer experience by servicing LG products in their homes. You will diagnose and repair major appliances, TVs, and A/C units, manage inventory, and handle administrative tasks, serving as the face of LG with professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Travel to customer locations to perform maintenance and repair of LG equipment.
- Properly use all provided safety equipment (PPE), vehicles, and diagnostic tools.
- Conduct technical diagnoses and specialized repairs on electronics and home appliances.
- Diagnose problems, assess repair needs, document findings, and decide on product repair or part replacement.
- Accurately and immediately process paperwork and perform data entry after each job.
- Pre-screen next-day service calls to gather information for preliminary diagnosis.
- Meet or exceed company metrics including customer satisfaction, first-time fix rate, revisit rates, parts management, and overtime percentage.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a technical role, preferably Field Service.
- Experience repairing major appliances (Refrigeration/sealed systems, cooking, cleaning products).
- Proficiency in using tools and diagnostic test equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and document product/system issues.
- Valid Driver’s license in good standing.
- Ability to obtain appropriate EPA Certification.
- Ability to meet physical requirements including continuous bending and lifting up to 50 pounds.
