Job Overview
Vertex Group is seeking an experienced Recruiter to support hiring across clinical research and related scientific roles for a nationally recognized pediatric academic medical center. This role involves partnering with hiring managers and research leadership to attract top talent for groundbreaking research initiatives. The ideal candidate understands the unique challenges of sourcing and engaging research professionals in a specialized, mission-driven healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for research-focused roles such as Clinical Research Coordinators, Research Assistants, Research Scientists, and Lab Technicians.
- Collaborate with hiring managers, principal investigators, and department leadership to define hiring needs and develop targeted recruiting strategies.
- Proactively source candidates using channels like LinkedIn, research networks, academic institutions, and professional associations.
- Screen and evaluate candidates based on technical qualifications and alignment with the organization's mission and culture.
- Manage the interview process to ensure a positive experience for candidates and hiring managers.
- Provide market insights, candidate trends, and hiring recommendations to stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate documentation and track activities within the applicant tracking system.
- Support offer development, negotiation, and onboarding coordination.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and internal policies.
Qualifications
- Required: 3-7+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
- Demonstrated experience recruiting for research, clinical research, or scientific roles.
- Experience in healthcare, academic medical centers, or research-driven organizations.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
