Job Overview
Compression Technologies & Services is hiring an Area Sales Leader for our South area. This role is responsible for business pipeline development and long-term strategy growth to increase sales revenue. You will focus on coaching field sales engineers and supporting the successful implementation of commercial business programs.
Responsibilities
- Generate revenue growth through the sale of industrial products, replacement components, and long-term service agreements.
- Lead and enable the sales team to achieve strategic goals for revenue, profit, and market share.
- Prevent or resolve sales channel conflicts and plan for long-term strategic growth initiatives.
- Coach, train, and develop sales employees, driving continuous improvement through performance management and personal development.
- Analyze target account requirements and develop penetration plans to increase market share and customer loyalty.
- Stay current on market intelligence and build industry relationships to enhance external awareness and gain market share.
- Coordinate with marketing and internal resources to resolve issues related to pricing, product specifications, and warranties.
- Ensure the success of marketing programs through the channel.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, business, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3+ years of sales experience.
- Valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months with a clean record.
