Job Description
BI Platform Administration Lead Consultant
Infosys is seeking a Lead Consultant with extensive experience in BI platform administration. This role involves managing, maintaining, and optimizing critical BI platforms to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain Power BI Service, Tableau Server, and SAP BusinessObjects.
- Manage platform configuration, upgrades, patches, and version control.
- Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of BI platforms.
- Monitor system health, usage, and performance metrics.
- Manage user provisioning, roles, permissions, and access control.
- Implement row-level security (RLS) and data-level security.
- Integrate with Active Directory/Azure AD/SSO.
- Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and standards.
Qualifications:
- 9-14 years of experience in BI Platform Administration.
- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI (Service, Gateways, Capacity, Security).
- Proficiency with Tableau Server / Tableau Online.
- Experience with SAP BusinessObjects (CMC, Universes, WebI, Scheduling).
- Experience with Windows/Linux servers.
- Knowledge of SQL and data sources (SQL Server, Oracle, Snowflake, etc.).
- Experience with authentication and authorization mechanisms.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
