Product Manager – Optical Seeker Systems Development
For the Missile and Space Systems Division, we are seeking a Product Manager for Optical Seeker Systems Development. Israel Aerospace Industries is a leader in defense and precision attack, recruiting pioneers to shape the future battlefield. This is a rare opportunity to lead the development of optical seeker heads at the forefront of global technology – complex "edge" systems integrating advanced algorithms, electro-optics, and artificial intelligence. The Product Manager is the central figure driving future and groundbreaking projects, ensuring the technological and operational advantage of the State of Israel and the company's clients worldwide. They hold full managerial and operational responsibility for the development of an optical seeker head.
Role Responsibilities:
- Work Plan Leadership: Formulating the project roadmap, managing timelines, and close monitoring of development progress.
- Interface Synchronization and Connection: Engaging and motivating multidisciplinary development teams (electronics, software, electro-optics, and algorithms) to achieve project goals.
- Risk Management and Control: Identifying potential obstacles, proactive risk management, and providing managerial solutions for unusual events, malfunctions, or delays.
- Client Interface: Managing the ongoing relationship, presenting progress status, and managing client expectations throughout the product lifecycle.
- Managerial Decision Making: Prioritizing tasks and managing resources with optimal balance between specification requirements and execution capabilities.
