About the role

Internship - Artistic Coordinator Assistant

Hermès is seeking a 6-month intern to join its Artistic Department, specifically within the Drawings Studio, starting September 2026. The Drawings Studio focuses on all drawing projects applied to Hermès products and métiers. This internship offers a unique opportunity to be part of a renowned luxury brand and contribute to its creative process.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and monitoring to identify and pre-select designers from various sources like schools, exhibitions, fairs, shows, magazines, books, and online platforms.
  • Prepare designer presentation files, including biographical notes, summaries of artistic expression, past collaborations, and representative visual research.
  • Act as a local researcher in an international and multicultural context, identifying new talents, artistic writings, and emerging trends.
  • Perform iconographic research to support briefs, subjects, and themes for different product categories and métiers, and assist designers with their drawing projects.
  • Scan original drawings, manage prints of scale models, and prepare prints for meetings with Artistic and Creative Directors.
  • Maintain up-to-date boards, collection plans, and designer files.
  • Update presentations for "Studio" squares and ongoing drawing projects by métier.

Profile:

  • Student in the final year of a Bachelor's or Master's degree; dual training is a plus.
  • Essential: Good knowledge of the contemporary artistic sector and art history, with a connection to an international or multicultural artistic network.
  • Essential: Sensitivity to cultural news and trends.
  • Interest in digital tools is appreciated.
  • Qualities: Communication, anticipation, initiative, strong deadline and priority management.
  • Autonomy, curiosity, responsiveness, organization, rigor, versatility, synthesis skills.
  • Team spirit, good listening skills, ability to motivate and coordinate others.
  • Proficiency in Macintosh environment, MS Office Pack, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Knowledge of Adobe InDesign is a plus.
  • Fluent written and spoken English. French language skills are optional.
