The Role: Senior Infrastructure Engineer
As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will take development and operational responsibility for HelloFresh's global network infrastructure, ensuring the best experience for millions of customers and internal users. Based in Phoenix, Arizona, you will provide on-site support to the Phoenix Metro area, including Goodyear. Working collaboratively with Infrastructure Engineers across North America, Europe, and Australia, you will help transform the food industry.
What You Will Do:
- Take ownership of the architecture, design, development, deployment, and operations of the network infrastructure using best practices.
- Be an active, solution-oriented member of autonomous, cross-functional agile teams, collaborating with Product Owners, Infrastructure Engineers, and Business teams.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of HelloFresh’s network architecture and act as an ambassador for solutions, offering support and mentorship to colleagues.
- Work with state-of-the-art technologies such as Cisco, Meraki, and Fortinet.
- Travel to various operating locations within our global stations to support local teams (up to 25%).
What You Bring:
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in Network Engineering, Design & Management.
- Experience maintaining LAN, WAN, and WLAN infrastructures, Layer 2 and Layer 3 networks, and IPv4/IPv6 networks and routing.
- Working knowledge of enterprise switches, routers, and firewalls (e.g., Cisco Mobility (WLC), Cisco, Meraki, Fortinet, Arista, etc.), plus site-to-site VPN connections using IPSec and IKE protocols.
- Understanding of IT Security and Privacy Principles, network layer high availability, and resiliency technologies like HSDP.
- Familiarity with LogicMonitor or similar network monitoring and alerting tools.
- Experience or knowledge of Wireless Heat Mapping with Ekahau or similar technologies is a bonus.
- Azure, AWS VPC, or other hosting and virtualization experience is desirable.
- VMware/Proxmox and Windows Server administration experience, including hardware installation and support.
