About the role
Who We Are
Good Inside is redefining parenting - not as something that should “just come naturally,” but as a skill to learn and practice. Founded by Dr. Becky Kennedy and Dr. Erica Belsky, we combine sturdy leadership with innovative technology to give parents personalized guidance, AI-powered support, and a global community.
Our mission: help parents raise resilient, confident kids in a changing world. We’ve already reached millions, and we’re just getting started. We’re refining our product and expanding our reach to empower even more families.
We’re looking for bold, high-ownership problem-solvers who want to build something new, tackle big challenges, and be at the forefront of change.
The Opportunity
We’re hiring a Director of Emerging Business to spearhead Good Inside’s expansion into high-impact, non-core revenue channels. This is a two-fold builder’s role: you’ll identify and develop our newest business opportunities, as well as close partnerships that extend Good Inside’s reach and create meaningful new revenue streams. Your initial focus will begin with our recently launched 1:1 parent coaching business and landing enterprise partnerships across industries that grow Good Inside’s reach.
You’ll operate with significant autonomy, reporting directly to the President, and will help define what “emerging business” means for Good Inside as we grow.
This is a hybrid role and requires 3 days per week in our Midtown Manhattan office.
What You’ll Own
New Business Opportunities
- Own 1:1 services as a business line: pricing, packaging, and new offer design. Plan and scale this from the current early positive signals into a significant business for Good Inside.
- Partner with the coaching team on capacity planning and quality, and own the growth and revenue side of the business.
- Identify and stand up adjacent revenue streams that follow the same model (new service formats, upsell paths, session-based offerings).
- Own reporting and forecasting for 1:1 and related revenue lines: conversion, upgrade rates, retention, and unit economics. Bring rigor and accountability to a nascent but high-potential channel.
- Partner cross-functionally with product, engineering, content, finance and functions throughout the organization to stand up and scale new opportunities.
- Explore and evaluate additional emerging opportunities (licensing, international, media, etc.) as the business matures.
Enterprise and Institutional Partnerships
- Source, pitch, and close enterprise and institutional partnerships (D2C businesses, healthcare systems, school districts, employers) seeking evidence-based parenting support at scale.
- Own the full deal cycle from outreach through signed agreement, working with legal, finance, and ops to structure pricing and delivery models.
- Build and manage a pipeline of enterprise opportunities, bringing the same rigor and forecasting discipline used on the 1:1 side.
Your Skills & Experience
- You are a strong builder and operator with 5+ years owning a service or subscription revenue line: pricing, packaging, forecasting, and cross-functional delivery coordination.
- Experience building or scaling a 1:1 or high-touch service business (coaching, therapy, tutoring, or similar) is a strong plus.
- You like the tension between protecting a good customer experience and pushing hard on growth, and you don't see those as in conflict.
- Enterprise or partnership sales experience; comfortable prospecting and closing, but this isn't a pure hunter role.
- Comfortable with ambiguity, moves quickly, and is equally at home in a spreadsheet and a sales conversation.
- Strong cross-functional collaborator; works closely with product, coaching/delivery, legal, and finance.
- Genuine alignment with Good Inside's mission. Excellent communication and storytelling skills; you can pitch Good Inside’s value proposition compellingly to a wide range of audiences.
What We Offer
- Compensation: $195,000-220,000
- Company Equity
- Comprehensive benefits package
- 401k + Company match
- Time off to recharge
- Hybrid work environment
- A high-ownership, high-performance, high-collaboration culture
