Job Overview

The Risk Data Governance Associate at Goldman Sachs plays a critical role in managing data risk within the Risk Division. The position involves partnering with business users and technical teams to expand, improve, and implement the strategic data architecture and governance framework in adherence with BCBS 239 and other regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Drive adoption of the firmwide data governance framework.
  • Manage initiatives to improve data governance quality.
  • Document data lineage from source to report production.
  • Collaborate with data producers and consumers to define ownership.
  • Develop communication and reference materials for policy implementation.
  • Define and create data validation controls.
  • Provide data quality analytics for remediation efforts.
  • Partner with users to feedback on strategic tooling.
  • Build consensus and communicate progress with senior stakeholders.
