Job Description
Senior Fullstack Developer PHP React Media Backoffice
We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer with expertise in PHP and React for a high-traffic media backoffice project. This is a freelance position with our major client.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a high-traffic media backoffice.
- Work on evolving content creation tools for journalists.
- Ensure the performance and complexity of user interfaces.
- Integrate and extend rich text editors.
- Optimize web performance and manage caching.
- Collaborate on frontend development using design systems and modern frameworks.
- Implement accessibility standards.
- Write unit and integration tests.
- Maintain and evolve Docker images and CI/CD pipelines.
- Work within an agile/Scrum environment.
Required Expertise
- Advanced mastery of React / TypeScript for complex and high-performance interfaces.
- Specific expertise in at least one rich-text editor (Tiptap, ProseMirror, etc.) with extension development.
- Backend: PHP and API Platform (detail your experiences), web performance optimization, reverse proxy cache management (Varnish), and CDN.
- Frontend: Working with a design system, experience with Next.js or Vite, accessibility experience.
- Quality: Mastery of unit and integration tests (Cypress, etc.).
- CI/CD: Maintenance and evolution of Docker images, Gitlab CI pipelines.
- Experience in information/high-traffic media environments and journalism (publishing, workflows).
- Agile/Scrum environment.
- Over 5 years of significant experience in the requested expertise areas.
