Automotive Sales Manager
Our Automotive Sales Managers are responsible for optimizing customer retention and profitability in the sales domain. This position encompasses crucial finance functions in car deals, including deal closures and managing finance agreements. Additionally, responsibilities extend to recruitment, training, and performance management of sales personnel. By establishing and maintaining customer-centric sales standards, this role enhances market competitiveness and our “Believe in Nice” culture.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive Salary: $2,500 monthly salary plus 3.25% commission. Expected annual earnings of $144,000.
- Generous Paid Time Off (PTO): Offering industry-leading PTO, with new full-time employees accruing 4 hours per pay period, totaling approximately 96 hours in the first year, with increases over time.
- Comprehensive Benefits Package: Extensive health benefits starting the first month after 60 days of employment, including medical, dental, vision, Health Savings and Flexible Spending accounts, life insurance, and short- and long-term disability, alongside a robust 401(k) plan.
- Paid Holidays: At least 2 paid holidays per year, subject to completion of the introductory period and other eligibility requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Structure vehicle deals, including contracting customers, ensuring accurate paperwork, and getting deals bought by the bank; making necessary corrections and performing resigns, and assumes full responsibility for funding delays.
- Hire, train, motivate, counsel, and monitor the performance of the sales team, creating and maintaining a strong and effective team.
- Understand, keep abreast of, and comply with federal, state, and local regulations that affect sales.
- Assist individual salespeople in setting realistic monthly goals and objectives and provide them with the support to meet these goals.
- Ensure proper follow-up of all potential buyers by developing, implementing, and monitoring a prospecting and sales control system.
- Conduct daily and/or weekly sales meetings.
- Provide effective communication throughout the sales department as well as interdepartmentally.
- Ensure that salespeople understand and follow dealership policies and procedures.
- Manage and maintain high ratings in customer reviews.
