About the role

About the Team

You will join the Group Purchasing Department within the Procurement Excellence & Transformation team, at the heart of performance and transformation challenges for the function. This team manages strategic topics across the entire Source-to-Pay cycle: process and tool optimization, performance management, supplier risk management, CSR/ESG, integration of acquisitions, and animation of the purchasing community.

In an international transformation context, you will contribute to cross-functional projects in digitalization, data, deployment, and evolution of Purchasing tools, with a direct impact on the operational efficiency of the teams. Artificial intelligence and automation will be a common thread throughout your missions.

Your Missions

Digitalization, Artificial Intelligence, and Automation

  • Deploy and support the adoption of new purchasing tools (including solutions developed by Dassault Systèmes and eventually the SAP ecosystem).
  • Translate business needs (process, integration, risks, ESG) into concrete solutions integrating AI.
  • Identify, test, and validate AI use cases defined with stakeholders.
  • Train and support buyers in the daily use of tools.
  • Deploy continuous improvement initiatives on processes and tools (generative AI, reporting automation, RPA).

Project Management & Interaction with IS/Technical Teams

  • Support Purchasing Project Managers by ensuring the technical implementation of their initiatives.
  • Coordinate exchanges between Purchasing, IS/IT, and other internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure the proper translation of business needs into operational solutions.

Evolution of the role at term:

As tools are deployed, you will evolve towards a role as a functional referent for Purchasing tools:

  • Ensure the proper functioning of solutions.
  • Manage functional evolutions and improvement requests.
  • Prioritize needs and coordinate evolutions with IT.
  • Maximize adoption and business value of tools.

Data Management & Performance

  • Design, automate, and maintain reports and dashboards (expenses, KPIs, supplier performance, contractual coverage, internal satisfaction).
  • Ensure the quality, reliability, and valorization of Purchasing data.
  • Produce and analyze recurring and ad hoc reporting, integrating predictive analysis or generative AI models.
  • Develop and automate project and savings tracking tools, with progressive integration of AI.

Continuous Improvement & Transformation

  • Document and maintain processes and best practices related to data, tools, and Purchasing performance.
  • Contribute to the industrialization and intelligent automation of recurring tasks.
  • Ensure technological watch on digitalization, AI, automation, and market innovations.
  • Be proactive in identifying new AI/data use cases for the Purchasing function.
  • Accompany change over time.

Your Qualifications

  • Higher education (business school, engineering school, or university master's degree).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in finance, consulting, or digital transformation.
  • Proven experience in managing or contributing to cross-functional projects in digitalization, tool integration, or data management, interacting with technical teams.
  • Solid command of Excel (Power Query, macros) and data visualization/BI tools.
  • Knowledge of languages/scripts for data manipulation (Python, SQL).
  • Good understanding of data-related challenges (quality, reliability, system integration).
  • Strong interest in innovation, automation, and AI applications.
  • Proactivity and willingness to propose solutions.
  • Analytical mindset, curiosity, autonomy, and a sense of innovation.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to formalize and simplify information.
  • Very good level of English, written and spoken.
