About the Role
As a Technical Recruiter at Carbon Robotics, you will serve as a key talent partner to our engineering leadership, focusing on filling our most critical technical positions. You will manage the entire recruitment lifecycle, with a specific emphasis on software, hardware, robotics, and AI/ML engineering roles. This role is based in Seattle, requiring 4 days per week in the office.
What You’ll Do
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from candidate sourcing to offer negotiations for crucial technical roles.
- Employ creative sourcing strategies to identify and attract passive candidates.
- Assess candidates for technical skills, cultural alignment, and congruence with Carbon Robotics' mission.
- Collaborate closely with hiring managers to refine job descriptions, optimize interview processes, and develop effective hiring strategies.
- Cultivate and maintain a strong talent pipeline to meet ongoing hiring demands.
- Represent Carbon Robotics at industry events, ensuring a positive and professional candidate experience.
- Track key hiring metrics and continuously refine recruiting strategies for optimal efficiency and effectiveness.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities For Success
- Minimum of 4 years of technical recruiting experience, with a preference for experience in robotics, AI, machine learning, or embedded systems.
- Familiarity with startup environments or rapidly growing tech companies is advantageous.
- Demonstrated success in recruiting for software engineering roles (e.g., Python, C++, TypeScript, React, Dart/Flutter, ROS, AI/ML) and hardware engineering roles.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS), especially Greenhouse, and sourcing tools like LinkedIn Recruiter.
- Solid understanding of technical hiring best practices, including a commitment to diversity hiring initiatives.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic, high-growth environment.
Compensation and Benefits
Carbon Robotics is committed to equitable hiring practices, allowing for flexibility in hiring at various levels. The provided salary range is based on a target budgeted base salary, with individual compensation determined by factors such as relevant experience, skills, interview performance, role responsibilities, and job duties. Offers are made using our equitable hiring practices. Additional compensation may include benefits premiums, pre-IPO stock options, and On Target Earning (OTE) commissions where applicable. Base pay ranges are subject to annual review, and we uphold the principle of pay equity.
Salary Range: $120,000—$135,000 USD
