Bilingual Small Business Support Representative

We have an exciting opportunity for a Bilingual Small Business Support Representative. We offer flexibility in working conditions; you can work from home; you can work from one of our offices located across the country, or you can work within a hybrid model!
What will you do?
In this role, reporting to the Manager, Business Resources Contact Centre, you will express your passion for helping small businesses by providing them with sound advice and tools to help them run their business.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and respond to inbound calls, emails, and live chats from Canadian business owners regarding HR, employment standards, taxation, regulations, financing, and operational issues.
- Prioritize and manage a high volume of cases while ensuring accuracy.
- Stay up to date on legislation affecting SMEs.
- Collaborate with legislative, savings, and sales teams.
- Perform additional Business Resources duties.
- Stay up to date with internal processes, procedures, and service standards to ensure consistent and high-quality support.
- Document call notes and case details in a CRM software in real time while speaking with members.
- Understand and apply CFIB’s mandate as a nonpartisan organization representing business owners.

- Self-starter able to work independently.
- Strong understanding of HR and employment legislation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft tools.
- Relevant postsecondary education.
- 1–2 years of relevant experience (call centre experience is an asset).
- Fluency in English and French.
- Availability 12:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m. EST.
