What the job really is

Ready to make a meaningful impact?

At Brighton Jones, we’re a purpose-driven, client-focused team committed to helping individuals live richer lives. As one of the largest RIAs in the nation, we’ve built a culture of continuous growth, collaboration, and community—recognized with 15 consecutive “Best Places to Work” awards including Inc.com’s 2025 list, as well as national honors for community impact.

We lead the industry in aligning wealth, passion, and purpose to help our clients thrive. With over $30 billion in assets under advisement, 300+ teammates nationwide, and a dynamic, team-based approach, we’re growing fast—and we’re looking for driven, curious individuals to join our #OneTeam.

Brighton Jones Trust Company, a newly chartered South Dakota trust company, is seeking a Trust Officer to serve as the primary relationship liaison between our clients, Brighton Jones advisory teams, and our South Dakota trust administration team. The Trust Officer will work closely with Brighton Jones’s Director of Estate Planning, Family Office team, and advisors across the firm to help deliver a seamless and highly coordinated trust experience. While day-to-day trust administration will be performed by our South Dakota trust administration team, this role will be the primary point of connection for clients and advisors—helping ensure communication is clear, needs are anticipated, and trust matters move forward efficiently.

The Trust Officer will support new trust onboarding, coordinate trust-related requests and distributions, facilitate beneficiary communications, and work closely with the South Dakota team to ensure trusts are administered in accordance with governing documents and applicable requirements. This person will understand the broader goals and circumstances of each family and help connect the technical administration of the trust with the family's overall wealth and estate planning strategy.

This role combines trust and estate expertise, project management, and relationship management. It is an excellent opportunity for someone who understands the trust administration process but is most energized by working with clients and advisors, coordinating across teams, solving problems, and creating an exceptional client experience.
