Responsibilities of a Junior UX/UI Designer
- Shape high-leverage product experiences by designing exceptional UI and UX, from initial concepts to final delivery, utilizing the best tools to explore diverse directions, increase speed, and elevate quality standards.
- Ensure all user experiences are intuitive, effective, and delightful.
- Leverage AI tools, including LLMs, to clarify intent, draft specifications, and identify potential risks, edge cases, and initial approaches before engaging in design tools. Use AI-generated insights to rapidly align with your team and transition from ambiguity to a clear direction.
- Utilize AI tools like Cursor and Claude Code to transform rough concepts into interactive prototypes and generate production-ready frontend code, fluidly moving between coding and design tools like Figma to achieve optimal results.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineers from the outset, defining UX requirements early, staying involved through QA and release, and making engineering-conscious design decisions.
- Validate designs and measure their effectiveness through direct customer interaction, rapid testing, and analysis of key metrics such as funnels, retention, and adoption to inform future iterations.
- Identify the most impactful improvements from the product backlog, articulate their business value, gain stakeholder alignment, and execute rapidly to deliver results.
