About the role
Job Description
The Subcontract Task Manager serves as the primary supply‑chain liaison for F‑16 ATS products, coordinating with program managers, procurement, operations, quality, finance, and engineering to ensure timely, on‑spec delivery of subcontracted work. Key duties include:
- Evaluates, negotiates, and manages assigned subcontracts to perform to each project's specifications, quality, budget, schedule and earned value requirements to include the timely delivery of all deliverables required to fulfill the subcontract.
- Acts as the primary point of contact between supply chain and the program office, fostering clear communication and efficient issue resolution.
- Authors, manages and influences critical path releases of Statements of Works (SOWs) and plans to align with required schedules and subcontractor lead times.
- Develops sourcing and subcontract program management strategic plans that address overall program capture needs and execution.
- Participates in the support of new business and in the development of financial plans for the company, as it pertains to the planned outsourced portion of the project(s).
- Works closely with the Procurement and Planning functional team to ensure orders are properly planned and POs are issued in accordance with program needs.
- Works with other functional teams such as engineering, operations, and quality to assist with program success.
- Establishes milestone objectives and manages performance to committed schedules and contractual specifications.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 4 years work experience or equivalent experience.
- The individual must have a strong background and understanding of procurement, planning, and project management.
- Must be familiar with the F-16 ATS products.
- Must be able to effectively collaborate across all functions to ensure program success.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Two plus years of experience with supply chain metrics, able to understand what the metrics measure, their influences, and devising a plan to improve overall performance.
- Experience with proposal development activities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor degree in Supply Chain and 3 plus year of Supply Chain experience.
- PMP Certified.
- Technical background/experience.
- SIOP knowledge.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $97008 - $164914. Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
