As a Business Development Representative (BDR) for the EMEA region, you will be the front line of Azami's sales funnel — responsible for generating new qualified leads, initiating conversations with potential clients, and setting up meetings for the sales team. Working closely within a pod-based commercial structure, you will focus on identifying demand, developing relationships, and supporting the growth of our customer base across the EMEA market.Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and qualify inbound and outbound leads through phone, email, and social media outreach.
- Arrange qualified meetings and product demos with potential clients for the Sales Account Executives.
- Collaborate closely with marketing and sales teams to optimize lead generation strategies and messaging.
- Maintain accurate records of communications and activities within the CRM system.
- Research and understand market trends, competitors, and key customer needs in the EMEA region.
- Participate in team meetings and provide feedback to improve processes and messaging.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of experience in a BDR, sales development, or related role within B2B SaaS or a technology environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage prospects effectively.
- Comfortable using CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce or similar) and other sales enablement platforms.
- Fluent in English; additional languages relevant to the EMEA region are strongly preferred.
- Ability to work EMEA hours (10:00 - 18:00 IST) to align with our target market.
- BA/BS degree – An advantage.
