Role Overview:
Full-Cycle Recruitment
- Assist with end-to-end recruiting for roles across departments, supporting sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and onboarding handoff.
- Help maintain proactive candidate pipelines, keeping top talent engaged for future opportunities.
- Support hiring managers in defining role requirements and aligning expectations.
- Contribute to managing multiple requisitions while ensuring a positive candidate experience.
National Sourcing Strategy
- Learn to execute multi-channel sourcing strategies, using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, Handshake, and other platforms.
- Gain experience sourcing both active and passive candidates.
- Help build relationships with universities, associations, and community networks to develop early-career and mid-career talent pipelines.
Candidate Experience & Relationship Management
- Conduct initial phone and video screenings under guidance to assess qualifications, interest, and basic fit.
- Support a positive candidate experience from first contact through onboarding.
- Maintain clear communication with candidates and hiring managers throughout the process.
- Represent Applied ABC’s employer brand professionally and enthusiastically.
Data, Metrics & Talent Intelligence
- Track basic recruiting metrics and help maintain organized records in the ATS.
- Support reporting and data entry to assist in monitoring recruiting outcomes.
- Learn to gather market intelligence on talent availability and competitor activity.
ATS & Systems Management
- Maintain accurate candidate records in the ATS at all times.
- Assist with onboarding coordination and ensure smooth transitions for new hires.
- Support HRIS data integrity and contribute to compliance and reporting activities.
HR & Employer Brand Support
- Collaborate with the HR team on recruitment initiatives, policy updates, and compliance tasks.
- Assist with employer branding efforts, including social media and career page updates.
- Stay informed on HR best practices and trends in talent acquisition.
What Sets You Apart
- 0-2 years of experience in recruiting, HR, or a people-focused role.
- Interest in learning how to source and engage candidates using LinkedIn, job boards, and creative outreach strategies.
- Willingness to learn about recruitment in competitive markets and understanding compensation basics.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Comfort using ATS platforms and HR systems, with attention to keeping candidate information organized and accurate.
- Basic understanding of employment law, compliance, and recruiting best practices.
- Strong communicator who can interact professionally with candidates and team members.
- Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
