About the Staff Pharmacist Role

Innovation is at the core of what we do at Amazon Pharmacy. We remove barriers to help customers get the medications they need, when they need them, and take them as prescribed. This role is key in dispensing medications and handling the prescription fulfillment process from order initiation to final shipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Fill, verify, and pack orders for shipment.
• Manage customer profiles via PharmacyOS.
• Process new and transferred prescriptions.
• Perform system-based verification and documentation.
• Ensure medication quality assurance and compliance with federal/state regulations.
• Handle ancillary pharmacy tasks such as checking returns and medication rejects.
• Answer clinical questions and collaborate with team members for quality checks.

Working Schedules

Shift options include:

• Fri - Mon, 10 hour shifts starting at 7:30am
• Sun - Wed, 10 hour shifts starting at 7:30am
• Wed - Sat, 10 hour shifts starting at 7:30am

Basic Qualifications & Preferred Skills

• Bachelor of Science or PharmD Degree.
• Active, unrestricted Pharmacist License in New York (others upon request).
• Knowledge of pharmacy laws, federal/state regulations, and customer care.
• Good interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions and handle warehouse tasks.
• Experience in LTC or Retail settings is preferred.
