About the Risk Specialist Intern Role

At Amazon, the Risk Specialist Intern will focus on identifying and analyzing risks across various business areas. This role gives you exposure to internal audit, fraud analysis, vendor investigations, financial risk and controls, and more. You will work with Amazon’s innovative teams to understand complex processes, identify risks, and report meaningful findings that help protect the organization.

Internship Details and Requirements

This is a 12-week summer internship (May – August 2026) for undergraduate students graduating between December 2026 and June 2027. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, be proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), and be able to work 40 hours per week. Relocation nationwide is required, and relocation assistance may be provided if eligible. Please note that visa sponsorship is not available.

Preferred Candidate Qualifications

• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Audit or risk mitigation experience preferred
• Strong initiative, organization, and communication skills
• Able to work independently and in team settings

Compensation and Benefits

Pay ranges from $24.09/hr to $51.54/hr based on location factors. Amazon offers comprehensive benefits, including equity, sign-on incentives, and additional benefits as part of a total compensation package.
