What You'll Do

  • Design and develop advanced environmental science problems with real-world relevance — spanning climate modeling, ecology, sustainability, and related domains
  • Solve and review complex, domain-specific problems to ensure scientific rigor, accuracy, and depth
  • Apply your expertise to create challenging problem statements that push AI reasoning to its limits
  • Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and fellow domain experts to refine and improve model outputs
  • Evaluate the quality and scientific validity of AI-generated content across environmental science topics
  • Work independently on task-based assignments at your own pace and on your own schedule

Who You Are

  • Master's or PhD in Environmental Science, Climate Science, Ecology, or a closely related field
  • Deep expertise in at least one of: climate modeling, ecology, environmental sustainability, or earth systems science
  • Proficient in Python or R for research or data analysis
  • Exceptional written communication skills — you can explain complex ideas with clarity and precision
  • Detail-oriented and scientifically rigorous in everything you produce
  • Self-motivated and reliable when working independently without close supervision
