The Opportunity
Work on a dual-layer product: customer-facing and internal tools. You will own tooling end-to-end—ideating, building, and shipping data-driven Streamlit apps backed by robust pipelines while collaborating with platform engineers.
- Configure hundreds of property-specific levers in seconds.
- Diagnose performance nuances across thousands of daily forecasts.
- Provide on-demand analytics through compelling visuals and dashboards.
What You’ll Do
- Design and build Streamlit apps showcasing core KPIs and anomaly-detection workflows.
- Write clear, performant SQL and dbt models to power the apps.
- Automate analytics pipelines using Prefect or similar tools.
- Monitor usage, latency, and data quality to improve feedback loops.
- Manage CI/CD processes using GitHub Actions and Docker/ECS.
- Promote best practices in coding, testing, and documentation across internal tools.
What We’re Looking For
- Proficiency in Python with production data or analytics app experience (Flask, FastAPI, Streamlit, Dash, Panel).
- SQL mastery including window functions, CTEs, and query tuning; Snowflake is a plus.
- Data visualization skills using Matplotlib, Plotly, Altair or similar libraries.
- Experience with containerizing apps and automating deployments in CI/CD pipelines.
- Startup mentality with proven sprint planning and collaborative work.
- Bonus: Understanding ML workflows and translating technical results for non-technical users.
