What you need
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field with 3 years of experience in construction project engineering or a related field OR 7 years of hands-on construction or project engineering experience in lieu of a degree
- Demonstrated experience translating technical or operational requirements into Statements of Work, scopes of work, or building plans in a construction or industrial setting
- Proven ability to build and manage project schedules, track deliverables, and drive accountability across subcontractors and internal teams
- Experience tracking equipment procurement, delivery, and installation within a project controls or construction management context
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey technical requirements clearly to contractors, engineers, and leadership stakeholders
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines
Nice to have
- Experience with Microsoft project, Smartsheets, or similar scheduling tools
- Experience with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or similar tools for construction document review and markup
- Familiarity with defense, aerospace, or industrial manufacturing facility construction requirements including compliance with OSHA and hazardous environment standards
