About this role
As a CNC Machinist & Programmer III at Voyager Technologies, you will set up and operate multi-axis CNC equipment, including 5-axis milling and CNC turning, to produce high-precision components from various materials. What you need
- High school diploma or GED; associate degree in machining technology or equivalent technical training preferred
- 7+ years of hands-on manufacturing experience
- 3+ years of experience working with multi-axis lathes and high-speed 5-axis mills producing complex parts with tight tolerances
- 3+ years of experience machining hardened metals including nickel-based alloys, stainless steels, and high-temperature superalloys
- Extensive experience with CNC controls, Fanuc preferred or equivalent platforms including Mazak, Okuma, Heidenhain, Siemens
- Excellent blueprint reading skills including GD&T per ASME Y14.5
Nice to have
- Experience with aerospace structural components
- Experience with CNC tube bending
- Tooling and fixture design experience
- Experience operating heavy lifting equipment such as cranes and forklifts
- Outside processing knowledge (heat treat, plating, coating, EDM, grinding, etc.)
