What you need
- 5+ years in engineering environments where developers own code through release, including CI/CD and production quality
- Strong frontend ownership, with the ability to guide work from ambiguous problem to production-ready interface
- Experience collaborating with designers and working within a shared component library or design system
- Product judgment, including the ability to understand user workflows and make technical decisions based on how systems are used in the real world
- A proactive approach to reliability, maintainability, accessibility, and scalability
- Direct experience with technologies relevant to our technical stack, which currently includes: React, TypeScript, and Base UI as the foundation of our component library
Nice to have
- Interest in working across the stack is a plus, not a requirement
- Experience building or configuring AI-enabled skills, tooling, workflows, or agents that improve your own development workflow and contribute to better team development practices
What you get
- Competitive Compensation Including ($170,000-$200,000) + bonus + benefits
- Comprehensive health and wellness benefits that start on day one, and access to free therapy or counseling
- Paid parental leave, up to 12 weeks at 100% of regular salary, and offering inclusive fertility and family-building care for all types of families
- Unlimited PTO to use for vacation or sick days—however you need it!
- Generous employee referral program
- Casual office attire, ability to bring your fur baby to work, cool VEG swag, food in the fridge for when you’re hungry and free lunches twice a week!
Worth weighing
- No salary listed in the posting, only a range is provided
- The role emphasizes in-person collaboration, which may require commuting to the office
- The focus on building stable, maintainable interfaces suggests a potentially legacy technology environment, depending on the current state of the stack
