What you need
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering
- 8+ years of progressive electrical engineering experience with demonstrated leadership of complex MV/LV design programs
- Advanced proficiency in power system analysis software (SKM Power Tools, ETAP, or equivalent)
- Demonstrated ability to lead substation design from concept through detailed engineering
- Deep knowledge of IEEE, ANSI, NEMA, CSA, and IEC electrical standards for industrial and process facilities
Nice to have
- EIT designation or P.Eng. / P.E. registration (or equivalent), or active pursuit thereof
- Experience with nuclear facility electrical design and nuclear classification requirements (IEEE 384, CSA N290.7)
- Familiarity with seismically qualified electrical equipment (IEEE 344)
- Experience with IEC 61850 substation automation and protection communication
- Experience with DC systems and battery sizing (IEEE 485/1115)
