What you need

  • Minimum of a B.S. degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering
  • 5+ years' experience in turbomachinery design and development
  • 8+ years' experience in an engineering discipline
  • 5+ years’ experience working with CAD software, preferably Siemens NX or PTC Creo
  • Significant experience in rotor dynamics, turbine stage aero-mechanical design, hydrodynamic design of pumps, and turbomachinery detailed layout and design
  • Experience in turbomachinery related analysis software (ANSYS FEA, CFD or other specialized software)

Nice to have

  • Experience with structural and thermal analysis using Ansys FEA software
  • Proficient in major industry CFD software (CFX, Fluent etc)
  • Experience in liquid rocket engine design, test or analysis
