About this role

As a Supplier Quality Engineer at True Anomaly, you will ensure that suppliers deliver flight-quality hardware by managing quality systems and root cause processes. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the Supplier Corrective Action Request (SCAR) process, conducting investigations on quality issues, and maintaining supplier quality data. You will collaborate closely with both internal engineering teams and suppliers to drive data-driven decisions and implement effective quality processes.

What you need

  • 3+ years of experience in supplier quality or quality engineering
  • Strength in machining, sheet metal/fabrication, PCB/PCBA assembly, wire harness, or electro-mechanical assembly
  • Working fluency in statistical quality tools (SPC, Cp/Cpk, Gage R&R/MSA, DOE)
  • Deep experience with structured root cause methodologies (5-Why, Fishbone/Ishikawa, 8D)
  • Demonstrated ownership of NCR disposition, PPAP/FAIR review, and use-as-is/rework/scrap decisions
  • Proficiency reading engineering drawings and GD&T per ASME Y14.5

Nice to have

  • Certification in Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher)
  • Experience with AS9100 or ISO 9001 quality management systems and internal/supplier auditing
  • Background in aerospace, defense, or another regulated industry
  • Experience building supplier quality data systems or scorecards from scratch
