What you need

  • Five or more years of hands-on environmental, health and safety experience in mechanical construction, HVAC service, industrial refrigeration, electrical contracting or mission-critical facilities
  • OSHA 30-Hour Construction, with OSHA 30-Hour General Industry required within 12 months of hire
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of lockout/tagout, NFPA 70E energized work practices, permit-required confined space entry, and fall protection and rescue planning
  • Incident investigation, root-cause analysis and OSHA recordkeeping experience
  • Current CPR, AED and First Aid certification, or the ability to obtain within 60 days of hire
  • EPA Section 608 Type II certification within 12 months of hire and Universal certification within 24 months

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree in occupational safety and health, industrial hygiene, environmental science or engineering
  • CSP, ASP, GSP, CHST or OHST certification, or active candidacy
  • Direct experience in data center commissioning or critical facilities service
  • Experience with A2L refrigerants, low-pressure centrifugal chillers, CO2 transcritical systems, or UPS battery systems and DC arc flash assessment
  • Environmental compliance experience, including regulated waste streams and refrigerant management under the Clean Air Act and the AIM Act
