What you need
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in public administration, business administration, economics, accounting, or a closely related field
- Six (6) years responsible experience in finance or a closely related field
- Four (4) years of administrative and supervisory responsibility
- Valid Texas Drivers License

- Significant experience in public-sector or municipal debt management, including debt issuance, debt portfolio administration, capital financing, and long-term debt planning
- Experience developing financing strategies and managing complex debt transactions, with demonstrated knowledge of municipal capital markets, credit ratings, and relationships with financial advisors, underwriters, investors, and other market participants
- Experience in treasury functions, including cash management and investments, with demonstrated success leading and developing high-performing teams and communicating effectively with council members, executive leadership, governing bodies, and credit rating agencies
- Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) preferred, or commitment to obtain within two years
